First Weeks Night Nanny
A Postpartum Doula Support Service for Seattle Families
Many parents find it challenging to adjust to their new sleep patterns. After your baby is born one of the Puget Sound Doulas will come to your home just before bedtime and tend to your baby while you and your partner catch up on much needed rest. If you are breastfeeding we will only wake you to feed your baby, then back to sleep you go!
Some parents will use our Night Nanny services only once, where others may need support every other night for a few weeks. We assess your needs each morning and adjust future visits to meet your unique needs. Postpartum Doula support can vary from one family to the next, or from day to day, within the same family. In addition to hands-on tangible support, we most commonly offer information, education, resources, local referrals to experts, and support for you, your baby, and your family/household.
